Busy week supporting World Mental Health Day
This week has been very busy so far with activities to mark World Mental Health Day (10th October). Monday was full of excitement with the Oxfordshire Social Inclusion Cup which was organised by Coasters and Streets Revolution. Our Trust was represented by a Coasters team and the Aylesbury Academicals team. Sadly neither team won as Union Street FC took the trophy home. Well done to everyone who took part.
The Life Stories Exhibition opened at the Warneford Chapel on Monday. It is a photographic exhibition of patient portraits. The exhibition is open everyday this week from 2-4pm so I hope you have the time to visit.
Finally, last night over 40 people attended the screening of Liberelun at the Phoenix Picture House in Jericho. The documentary covered a trip by Italian members of ANPIS to a mental health hospital in Argentina to play football. The exclusive UK screening was supported by Artscape and Coasters and included a Q&A session with the director, founder of ANPIS and members of Coasters. Thank you to everyone who attended.
