Our School Health Teams work with children, young people and families to enable children to be healthy and reach their full potential.  School Nurses are qualified nurses who have undertaken specialised training in the health of children and young people.

Our teams work closely with other professionals, parents and carers across Oxfordshire to deliver the Healthy Child Programme (5–19).  In addition to core school health nursing, we deliver immunisations, and the National Child Measurement Programme.

For general information, please see our leaflet ‘Getting to know your School Health Nurse service‘.  Or read this article School Nurse speaks proudly of her role in The Guardian.  Or see our videos on immunisation and feedback from young people.

For health professionals, please see our dedicated information for health professionals page.

For schools, please see our dedicated schools page.
