The outstanding work of staff at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been celebrated at an awards ceremony.

The Staff Recognition Awards, which took place at the Kassam Stadium, Oxford, on Thursday 10 September, saw individuals and teams recognised for their dedication and achievements. Ranging from a respiratory nurse whose innovative work to integrate three services means patients now just have to attend one appointment to a social worker nominated by someone experiencing psychosis who said the friendship and support shown to them had been key to increasing their emotional wellbeing, the winners came from across the spectrum of OHFT’s services.

The ceremony was led by Chair Martin Howell and Chief Executive Stuart Bell CBE, who said: “This was a wonderful occasion where we applauded the fantastic work going on across our trust. In an often challenging environment, we all remain committed to ensuring we provide the very best care. Some staff, however, go above and beyond what is expected of them. This was the opportunity for us all to thank them for their dedication and congratulate them on their success.”

The winners were presented with a certificate, a trophy and gift vouchers in recognition of their hard work.
