Oxford Health staff help support Alternative Guide to Mental Health

An Oxford Health care coordinator has helped support an animation which provides an alternative guide to mental health services.

Every year, 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem, but the experience is different for everyone, and so is the support needed.

The Alternative Guide to Mental Health Care in England recognizes these differing needs, and Oxford Health’s Charlotte Yeatman, the Care Coordinator for the City Adult Mental Health Team, helped support the King’s Fund in putting together this animated guide.

The animation provides an outline of three different experiences of mental health, to demonstrate the range of services available and some of the issues that still need to be addressed.

For more about the creative process behind the animation, please see the Creative Connection website.
