Warneford Hospital Roadworks

Essential roadworks starting the weeks of 13th February 2017 will result in traffic disruption at the Warneford Hospital.

Warneford Hospital Roadworks

Our Estates and Facilities team will be carrying out essential road surfacing works on the Warneford site on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February, and Oxford City Council will also be carrying out work at the entrance to the site the week of 13th February 2017.

As a result of this work, there will be disruption while entering and exiting the Warneford site: please do allow extra time for this.

The work carried out by our Estates and Facilities team will result in the main vehicle entrance to the Warneford site being closed, and vehicles will need to enter through the overflow car park.

The flow plates will be temporarily removed to facilitate this.

Traffic flow will therefore be going in the opposite direction to normal.

This will mean that you will not be able to park in the following areas:

  • The green tree lodge car park
  • The pay and display car park outside the Warneford HQ main entrance
  • The overflow car park

The Pay and Display car park next to the Highfield Unit will still be open for the public to park in, with access through the overflow car park only.

Find out more about parking at our sites.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and we appreciate your patience while this necessary work is carried out.
