You are welcome to nominate any member of staff at Oxford Health for the individual Exceptional People Award – perhaps the receptionist that always orders a taxi for you, or a member of the housekeeping team that keeps the ward clean and welcoming. It could be your community psychiatric nurse or district nurse who has been to see you at home and been supportive and reassuring after a recent hospital admission.
If someone has made a difference, however large or small, we would love to hear about it!
How to nominate
To nominate someone please complete this online nomination form.
See also the rules for making a nomination.
For enquiries, please email ExceptionalPeopleAward@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk.
What happens next?
The nominations will be considered monthly by a panel of five governors from the Oxford Health’s Council of Governors: Mike Hobbs, Jacky McKenna, Jonathan Cole, Nyarai Humba and Anna Gardner, who represent public, carer and service user constituencies from across the Trust geography.
Each Exceptional People Award winner will be presented with a prize of:
- £50 voucher
- a framed certificate
- an engraved glass trophy
Winners will also be celebrated on our website, social media and publications (unless they prefer not to do so.)
