Could Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies be your next career move?

We are a NHS mental health service. Each year we support over 10,000 people to manage common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression.

We offer a range of psychological and employment interventions to adults over the age of 18 across the county of Buckinghamshire. Our main bases are in High Wycombe and Aylesbury, and we also run clinics from a variety of community venues across Buckinghamshire.

We have recently rebranded ourselves to fit in with the national identity of Talking Therapies, we used to be known as Healthy Minds so you may find some of our information on this page referring to this as our service.

Our team

Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies has over 250 team members, in a variety of professions:

  • from trainee to qualified clinicians
  • from administrators to clinical psychologists
  • from data to operational support

Every team member is highly valued and crucial to our ongoing success.

What we do

As an NHS Talking Therapies service, we offer our clients the least intrusive intervention options first; it’s not a one size fits all approach, we offer the most suitable interventions based on the clients needs.

Therapy options include one-to-one talking therapies, group courses, computerised CBT and counselling for depression, among others. Currently, these therapeutic interventions are delivered through a mixture of telephone, digital and face-to-face sessions.

Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies is one of the top performing services, nationally, and our excellent recovery rates are a true reflection of our team’s hard work and dedication.

Opportunities

We are now in a position to expand our service, to widen our reach, and support even more people within Buckinghamshire.
