The Bucks MHST referral process is simple and easy; 

School link workers, usually mental health leads, SENCO, wellbeing or SEND officers, should submit completed referral forms (see below) to dedicated MHST inboxes that are subsequently reviewed in allocation meetings to discuss new cases, as well as monitor progress on existing cases.

Once practitioners are designated to specific referrals who will contact the client either directly or via their family to schedule a range of sessions which are hosted at the school. 

Once all sessions are complete, clients are either discharged, referred to a Bucks CAMHS pathway or offered additional support via partner organisations, depending on their needs.

All referrals are confidential. Parental consent is encouraged below the age of 12, however consent is not a barrier to use of service and self-referral for older children is welcomed. 

Users do not require any parental consent to access Bucks MIND service.
