Information for young people
Want to have your voice heard? Come along to one of our Eating Disorder Youth Participation Forums.
We are a team of young people and staff who work together on different projects to make sure the Eating Disorder Team at CAMHS listens to young people’s feedback to improve the service that young people receive.
Be involved with things like:
Sharing your ideas to support and improve the care of children, young people and their families in the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
Being involved in delivering training or developing training resources for staff so they are kept up to date on the real issues affecting young people.
Interviewing new staff for CAMHS to make sure we employ the right people for our service.
Making helpful leaflets and packs of information for young people that will really be useful to them.
Developing information for the website to improve the information, advice and support regarding eating disorders.
Get involved in research opportunities.
The group meet regularly at the Sue Nicholls Centre in Aylesbury or at Raglan House in Oxford.
For more information and the next date, please speak to your key worker.
