Patient Advice & Liaison (PALS)

PALS is a free and confidential service that provides help when it is needed.  Members of the PALS team act independently when handling patient and family concerns, liaising with staff, managers and, where appropriate, relevant organisations to negotiate immediate or prompt solutions.

We have offices based in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and our PALS service also covers services in Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. PALS Surgeries are also held on a monthly basis across many inpatient wards.  For further details about these then please contact the office.

Opening hours

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm.  If no one from the team is available, or if you are calling outside of office hours, your call with be diverted to an answerphone.  Please leave a message and the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you are not able to visit one of the PALS Offices or attend a PALS surgery then a member of the PALS team would be more than happy to arrange to meet you at one of our other hospital sites.
