Buckinghamshire Community Eating Disorder Service

Buckinghamshire Community Eating Disorder Service

Come join our Community Adult Eating Disorder team in Buckinghamshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced staff to join the Community Adult Eating Disorder team in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting time for our team due to the development of a new service model.

Our Community roles are based at Sue Nicholls Centre (Aylesbury), which is a specialist adult eating disorders service with a reputation for excellence.

You will be working in a community based team delivering a service to adults with eating disorders and their families/carers in a supportive and lively multidisciplinary team, where differences in training are respected and valued.

Our service provides a stepped-care model tailored to the needs of adults with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder as well as those with co-morbid mental health problems and their carers. We offer a range of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders and deliver these within the community and inpatient services. There are opportunities for further training in the evidence-based treatments and the service is developing the FREED initiative (First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders).

Our current roles include:

Senior Nurse – Band 6 – Full or Part Time: Apply here

Clinical Nurse Specialist – Band 7 – 18.75 hours per week: Apply here

Clinical or Counselling Psychologist – Band 7 – Full or Part Time: Apply here
