Travel by bus

Oxford Bus Company: Service 4, 4A, 4B, and 4c. Bus stop is directly outside Warneford Hospital.

Services 8. Leave the bus at Gipsy Lane. Walk past Brookes University/Headington Campus along Gipsy Lane, across Warneford Lane and into Roosevelt Drive. Warneford Hospital is on your right hand side (approx. 5 min walk).

Travel by car

Warneford Hospital is in Headington, 2.5 miles east of Oxford City centre. It can be reached easily from the M40.

From the east, turn off at junction 8 or 8a, take the A40 then the A420 to Headington centre and follow signs for the hospitals.

From the north, turn off at junction 9, take the A34 then the A40 northern ring road to the Marston junction (B4150). Turn left onto the B4495 towards Headington and follow signs for the hospitals.

From the south and west, approach from the eastern ring road and B4495.

There are a limited number of parking places available – please follow the signs on site.
