Understanding Suicide and Self-harm

Buckinghamshire Carers’ Workshop

12th September 2019 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

Self-harm does not inevitably lead to an act of suicide. This session will seek to explain the differences between a desire to commit an act of self-harm and feelings of suicide, and offer strategies for dealing with both.

This session is not suitable for individuals who may be experiencing active suicidal feelings.

Trainer: Robert Corteen

This workshop is provided only for Buckinghamshire-based carers of service users who are currently under Bucks Mental Health Teams.
