Drop in for support on Swallowing Awareness Day

Ever heard the term dysphagia? This is the medical term for swallowing difficulties and can affect anyone but is commonly associated with stroke, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and mouth and oesophageal cancer.

If you’re struggling with your swallowing drop in on our adult speech and language therapists for some information and advice on Swallowing Awareness Day – Wednesday, March 13:

  • Witney Community Hospital from 12.30pm and 2.30pm
  • City Community Hospital from 2.30pm until 4.30pm
