Volunteering

We have a great range of rewarding volunteering opportunities across the counties.
You may want to use skills you already have, or develop new ones – we support both.

Volunteer with us

We are looking for volunteers who are:

  • interested in supporting staff and patients in a healthcare setting
  • caring and approachable
  • eager to make a difference
  • able to abide by policies and procedures in place to keep you and others safe
  • able to commit the volunteering role and requirements
  • over the age of 16 (18 for some roles)

We ask volunteers to commit to following our values and bring them to life. You also need to become a member to volunteer with us.

What our volunteers say

“I think the volunteering also helped me to get a job as a healthcare assistant… It showed I was interested in mental health.”

Once our other checks (references and DBS) have been completed, and you are successful at the interview, we will contact you to start your volunteering.
