Case study of digital innovation

The unprecedented events of 2020 have added momentum to the NHS’s commitment to offer digitally enabled care wherever possible.

Since October 2018, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has worked with the Oxford Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) to promote the use Sleepio – an online sleep improvement programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy. Developed by Big Health and supported by Innovate UK, the programme has been used by more than 15,000 people in the Thames Valley region.

AHSN is running a free webinar on the project on Tuesday, September 29 at 3pm – 4pm.

The webinar will you take through the project’s journey – from initial adoption to population rollout. It will cover the tools needed to evaluate digital solutions,  a framework to spread innovation at scale and an  independent impact analysis. The speakers will be:

  • Matt Williams, Oxford Academic Health Science Network
  • Charlotte Lee, Big Health
  • Chris Sawyer, Innovate UK
  • Chris Sampson, Office of Health Economics
