Employment support

Delivered by Richmond Fellowship's Employment Advisors

Working as part of the Healthy Minds team, we can provide comprehensive support for you if you are experiencing a common mental health problem(s) and have employment related issues. This applies whether you are currently employed, off sick from work or unemployed and looking to find work.

We believe in a ‘recovery approach’, whereby:

  1. You will be continually involved in all aspects of your support and fully involved in the decision-making process.
  2. Support will focus on your strengths, aspirations and goals to encourage and assist you to achieve choice and direction over your life.

We offer support for employed people struggling at work to assist in helping to keep their jobs.

This comes in the form of one to one support with an Employment Advisor for up to 6 months – with options of face to face offered in High Wycombe and Aylesbury, telephone and email support.

Support for unemployed people wanting to get back into work. This comes in the form of 6 workshops which cover:

CV’s, application forms, interview techniques, job searching, barriers and benefits to employment, disclosing health conditions in the workplace, and transferrable skills.

We also offer one to one support to get back into work.

Workshops are available for Employers to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace.

If you are interested in any of these options, please speak with your Healthy Minds clinician and they can make a referral to us on your behalf. A member of the Richmond Fellowship team will then be in contact with you in due course. At busier times there may be a few weeks waiting list.
