We also work with people who are experiencing difficulties or struggling to manage a Long Term Health Condition(s) or our Employment Advisors could help those who are struggling at work or are unemployed.
In accordance to NICE Guidelines, the evidence-based therapies that Healthy Minds offers include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfullness for Depression, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Couples Therapy for Depression, Insomnia Support and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
Anyone who is registered with a Bucks GP surgery, and who are aged 18 or over can be referred to the service.
Healthy Minds is unable to meet the needs of people who have a severe and enduring mental health problem like Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders or Psychosis. People with these conditions may benefit from being referred to the local Adult Mental Health Team.
We would also be unable to meet the needs of those people whose drug and/or alcohol problem prevents engagement in psychological therapies.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only offering remote treatment options using online solutions or telephone appointments. If you have any questions please contact us. Alternatively, we will contact each patient if there are any further changes to the service.
