What is it?

IWantGreatCare is an independent and secure system designed to make it easy for patients and carers to provide feedback on their care experiences.

It offers people who use services a range of ways to leave feedback anonymously, including using paper, web or app based surveys in multiple languages and allows services to access and utilise that information received to improve care for the next patient.

How to use it

iWantGreatCare lets patients leave meaningful feedback on their care, say thank you and help the next patient and supports a culture of listening to the patient and carer voice as part of all the work done across the trust.

Every team has a unique 4 digit code and all your feedback can be viewed online within days of it being given. This means it can be used in real time to celebrate positive comments and to make regular quality improvement where needed.

What difference does it make?

Oxford Health have worked with IWGC since 2016 and have collected over 85,000 responses from people who use our services.

Following feedback from staff and service users, in 2022 we started a new program of work with IWGC to design and develop bespoke surveys for use in different services.

Staff worked with patients and carers to develop local questions which will be used in surveys alongside the trust wide questions.
