Donna is the lead for Experience & Involvement, setting the direction and strategy of the team in increasing involvement across the trust. Donna also leads on implementing the I Want Great Care feedback system.

Nicole works across the physical health teams, both community and hospital based. “it’s the experts by experience that motivate me. Their experiences and journeys”.

Matt works across the forensic services– mental health services for those involved with the criminal justice system – including running a forum for the inpatient communities and ensuring service users are involved in decisions about the direction of forensic care.

Di works to support and involve carers from across the trust. Di has been instrumental in the implementation of the triangle of care and think family approach. Di also runs the carers support group.

Ffion is our Children and Adolescents Mental Health Service Lead. She works across the Oxfordshire Directorate. ‘Ensuring we hear and respond to patient and carer feedback is key in making services better for those who access them’.

Rachel supports service users with learning disabilities, and their carers, to get involved across the trust. This includes the Evenlode Voices inpatient forum. “In my view the quickest way to improve peoples experiences of healthcare is to involve the people who use services in any changes we make.”

Amber works across adult and older adults mental health services in Oxfordshire, “I believe that learning from the voice of Experts by Experience is key to successful service improvement.”

Julie also works across Oxfordshire and has been involved with projects to co-create care plans, co-chairs the suicide prevention research group and is also involved with the our voice forum.

“I am an Expert By Experience & the Experience & Involvement Facilitator for the New Warneford Development. I am using my insight of being an Inpatient to look at the Patient Experience Pathway for this project.”

Roberta has been working on involving service users in our website re-design and engaging with our inpatient population. “User involvement should not be seen as an alien concept, but integral to our work”
