It is important that practice staff benefit from high class training delivered by people with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Guidelines for commissioning Technology Enhanced Learning in the NHS is a useful summary of good practice from the Health Education England Technology Enhanced Learning progamme for learning across a wide range of learning platforms including e-learning courses, mobile learning, online assessments and resources, interactive digital media, videos for learning and reflection, teleconferencing and webinars for virtual workshops and meetings, and simulation using virtual reality.
The Bucks, Oxfordshire and West Berks Excellence Centre is a partnership of organisations across health and social, including private and voluntary employers and training providers, who are committed to improving access to high quality vocational education and training to the support workforce.
HealthTech TV is a unique health simulation centre at the Aylesbury campus of Bucks College. Funded by HEE, it provides a range of competitively priced entry level professional development courses, eg first aid and dementia awareness. It has a state of the art immersive classroom which allows candidates to experience a range of real life environments to support their training. The HealthTec facility can be hired for in house training, and it is possible to have your own practice as the backdrop to your training.
