High Impact Action Case Studies – Active Signposting (aka Care Navigation)

NHS England has published a series of case studies to support work around releasing capacity in general practice (the 10 High Impact Action case studies)  including Active Signposting.

Active Signposting provides patients with a first point of contact (often the  practice receptionist) who directs them to the most appropriate source of help. A growing number of practices and organisations are offering training in active signposting, there is advice on what to look for when choosing a provider here.
