Detection and management of liver disease in primary care – workshop

Liver disease is an increasing cause of premature mortality in the UK and a current clinical priority project for the college. The RCGP and the British Liver Trust have organised a free half day workshop which will look at the main causes of liver disease and how new guidelines and innovative practice can be used to improve detection and appropriate management in primary care.

Take a look at the RCGP Liver Disease Toolkit developed by the British Liver Trust and RCGP. It includes training resources for all staff groups in general practice, links to guidance, organisations and patient resources, and resources for commissioners.
