Managing heart failure is complex and requires a multidisciplinary approach, but early diagnosis and ongoing management require a systematic approach in primary care.
The latest NICE guideline on heart failure puts greater emphasis on multidisciplinary working, shared decision making, care planning, lifestyle advice and interventions, comorbidities, and end of life care.
