In-Practice Fellowships for GPs interested in research
The NIHR In-Practice Fellowship award is part of the Integrated Academic Training (IAT) programme set up to improve career pathways for researchers in both medicine and dentistry. The awards are designed to provide support for fully-qualified General Practitioners, General Dental Practitioners and Community Dentists who have outstanding potential for development as a researcher and/or educationalist.
The Fellowships will provide part-funding for the basic salary (50%) which will allow the practitioner to have protected time to develop academic skills and, where appropriate, complete a Master’s degree. Closing date for applications: 28th March 2018
