Leading Change, Adding Value – new framework for nursing, midwifery and care staff

Leading Change, Adding Value is a new national framework for all nursing, midwifery and care staff in England, wherever they work and whatever role they might have. Jane Cummings CNO for England describes it as ‘a framework every nursing, midwifery and care professional, in all settings, can use to ensure that we achieve the best quality of experience for our patients and people, the best health and well-being outcomes for our populations, and use finite resources wisely to get best value for every pound spent’

The Framework builds upon Compassion in Practice and is directly aligned with the Five Year Forward View (FYFV) in seeking to develop new ways of working that are person-focused and provide seamless care across the boundary that has traditionally separated health and social care.
