Musculoskeletal primary care programme

HEE has funded the development of an e-learning training package to support musculoskeletal (MSK) care in primary care practice. The Musculoskeletal primary care e-learning programme will support clinicians working as first contact practitioners in (FCPs) in a primary care environment.

The package provides eight e-learning sessions that go through a range of particular primary care issues that are commonly seen as part of an MSK FCP assessment including What is primary care, Identification of the ill and at risk, Mental health in primary care,  Managing patients with comorbidity, Persistent pain,  Overview of medicines and prescribing, and  Serious pathology of the spine.
