Patient Data Choices National Event – Friends House, London, 24 May 2018
This free event, part of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and NHS Digital Patient Choices project, will set the scene for general practice and its role in implementing and upholding individuals’ choice about how their data is shared. It will look at the importance of choice and trust, and what the RCGP is doing to ensure that general practice teams are supported to advise patients confidently about data sharing and the opt-out in a balanced way. There will be a demonstration of how the new digital opt-out service works and a look at what the RCGP is planning to do to support general practice teams uphold the national data opt-out.
