Preceptorship scheme for newly qualified PAs in primary care

A preceptorship scheme for newly qualified Physician Associates (PAs) working in primary care in Sheffield started in March 2018 with four posts. This has increased to 20 due to the success of the scheme. A report in Clinical Medicine describes how the scheme arose, and feedback from the general practice supervisors and the preceptorship PAs.
