Supporting people with MSK conditions to be more active

The benefits of physical activity for musculoskeletal (MSK) health are well known, but despite this, many people are less active than recommended levels.

A webinar,  presented by the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA),  will look at how local services can support people with MSK conditions to become more active and how activity providers can better understand their needs. It will focus on three initiatives:  Parkrun, Moving Medicine and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Love Activity campaign, and how they are building and embedding local resilience and prevention opportunities. The webinar is aimed at anyone working with people with MSK conditions, including commissioners and providers of physical activities.

Presenters include Dr Ai Lyn Tan (Leeds Teahing Hospitals NHS Trust), Hamish Reid , Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and Sara Hazard, Chartered Society of Physiotherapists

The webinar will be on Friday 30 November 11.00am
