You Matter: Understanding Intellectual Disability elearning

London South Bank University is launching a free online course, You Matter: Understanding Intellectual Disability, aimed at anyone working with or caring for someone with an intellectual disability. The course, which was part funded by HEE and supports the national Transforming Care agenda, will give people an understanding of the lived experiences of someone with an intellectual disability. It will also look at the role of family and carers and the issues they face and explore current best practice, while incorporating good ways of working into professionals’ own practice.
