Databases

The library provides access to many health care databases with an OpenAthens    log-in.

Training  is available if you would like to learn more about how to maximise your searching skills or to learn more about the strengths and coverage of the various databases now available to you.

Guidance notes on the use of the HDAS databases can be found on the HDAS advanced search page in the about tab for each database: AMED, BNI, CINAHL, EMBASE, Health Business Elite, HMIC, MEDLINE and PsycINFO.

To begin an advanced search via any of these databases, log in with your NHS OpenAthens user name/password.
