Library staff are available during staffed hours to receive your enquiry.
Enquiries can be made in person, by phone or email.
Alternatively enquries can be sent via this website using our ‘Ask a Librarian’ facility. This provides a knowledge base of recent questions which may include the answer to your question but if not, simply complete the form and a member of the library staff will respond as soon as possible.
If your request is complicated we may need to contact you to discuss it further. We usually respond to your request within two working days, but we will try to get the information to you as soon as we can. If you have a deadline, please give us as much notice as possible.
Library staff can help you with general enquiries, such as information about the library services and resources, help finding books, journals, reports or guidelines, checking references or help finding statistics. They can also offer advice on searching for information, including tips to improve your search strategies and the best resources for your enquiry.
The library can conduct literature searches on your behalf, if you cannot access the databases you need or have insufficient time to do your own search. See Literature Searching, Literature Searching Guides
