Cardiovascular disease is an umbrella term for all diseases of the heart and circulation and accounts for more than 161,000 deaths a year in the UK alone.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the UK’s number one heart charity. Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions. This month helps to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease, along with preventative measures that can help protect against it.
