Meningitis Research Foundation estimates that there are around 3,400 cases of bacterial meningitis and septicaemia every year in the UK and Ireland – with many people still not fully knowing what signs or symptoms to look out for.
This week’s aim is to raise awareness of the importance of early detection, plus offer support to those who have lost loved ones to meningitis, as well as those who are living with the after effects of it.
