People with appointments for the Kassam Stadium vaccination centre on Oxford United match days are being asked to rebook.

People with vaccination appointments coinciding with Oxford United home games in August and September need to rebook

The confirmation of the Oxford United fixture list, and updated government guidance on fans being able to attend sporting events, means people are being asked to reschedule their vaccination appointments at the Kassam Stadium if they have booked a slot that now coincides with a home match being played in the next eight weeks.

The dates are:

  • Saturday August 14
  • Tuesday August 17 (only vaccinations booked for a time after 3.30pm)
  • Saturday August 28
  • Saturday September 11
  • Saturday September 25
  • Tuesday September 28 (only vaccinations booked for a time after 3.30pm)

Anyone affected by this has been contacted directly via the NHS national booking system.

Only people with appointments affected by games in August and September need to rearrange their appointments. People do not need to take any action unless they are contacted by the national booking system to rearrange their appointment.

More appointment slots have been made available on other dates during August and September to ensure people can book alternatives.

It is possible to rebook at the Kassam or an alternative site via the national booking system if that is more convenient. Information on how to rebook is provided in the message sent by NHS Digital.
