Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening inherited disease that affects almost 10,000 people in the UK. It is caused by a faulty gene carried by parents and affects the lungs and digestive system, making it harder to breathe and eat easily.

This week not only raises awareness of the disorder, it also raises awareness of the support that is out there for sufferers and their families. More information, fundraising and support ideas can be found by clicking here.
