Deafblind refers to those who have a combined sight and hearing loss, which causes difficulties with communication, access to information and mobility. In the UK there are an estimated 356,000 deafblind people.

Deafblind UK’s vision is that people who have a combined sight and hearing loss should have the same rights, access and opportunities as others. This week is aimed at raising awareness, as well as highlighting the help that is available for those suffering with deafblindness.
