This winter 24,000 older people could die from the cold – that’s 200 deaths a day that could be prevented. Bobble day is part of Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign, which aims to reach older people and ensure they’re warm, safe and healthy this winter.

Bobble day asks people to dig out their favourite woolly – or their silliest – and donate to wear it for the day. Your woolly will help keep someone older warm this winter too. For fundraising ideas to get you started please click here.
