ADAPT training underway

A training programme for people who do, or would like to work with assistive technology has now been launched.

ADAPT training underway

The CCCU research team working on the EU funded ADAPT Project (Assistive Devices for empowering disAbled People through robotic Technologies) is pleased to announce the ADAPT Assistive Technology (AT) Training programme is now underway.

The training ,comprises the following units:

Unit 1: Foundations in Assistive Technology

Unit 2: Understanding Disability

Unit 3: Assistive Technology for Posture and Mobility

Unit 4: Assistive Technology for communication

Unit 5: Evidence-Based Practice for AT

The units are designed for health and social care professionals and students who work with AT, will do so in the future, or have an interest in the field.
