Cakes keep coming to Elms Clinic in Banbury
Home bakers from Hook Norton are spoiling our Adult Mental Health Team
Cakes just keep coming to the North West Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Team at the Elms Clinic in Banbury.
“We received two deliveries of cakes, kindly baked by a group of home bakers in Hook Norton,” told team manager Jenny Guest.
“They made a delivery of Easter cakes on Easter Sunday and we received a second surprise delivery later in the week after Easter. It has definitely kept us going!”
Another delivery came yesterday (Friday) morning.
“Our clinician Jade had a huge smile on her face when she discovered the cakes in the kitchen,” Jenny said. Her own favourites are oaty fruit cookies.
“With a cuppa – just what I needed for this afternoon!”
A big THANK YOU to all bakers in Hook Norton and Rachel Mortimer who is organising the bakers and deliveries. It’s wonderful to have such support from our communities.
