Calls to 111 affected by national software problem

Oxford Health is asking people calling 111 for an appointment at a Minor Injury Unit or the out of hours GP service to be patient while an ongoing software problem affecting NHS services nationally is resolved.

Calls to 111 affected by national software problem

If you need medical attention and can’t wait to see your GP, please call 111 in the usual way and the team will take your details and arrange a call back. In the meantime there may be a delay in receiving an appointment via 111 at one of the Trust’s Minor Injury Units or for the GP out of hours service.

If a prescription is required as part of your care, it may be necessary to collect this from one of our bases. Please respond promptly to any phone calls you may receive. We are sorry but we cannot guarantee the time of your call back.

If your condition worsens and you have not received a call, please call 111 again. If your condition is life-threatening, please call 999.
