Carers Rights Day – helping you find your way

Are you looking after someone?  It is important that you understand your rights as a carer and where to go for support. Thursday, November 21, is Carers Rights Day and Oxford Health is raising awareness of your rights and support available.

These include:

  • a carer’s assessment and how to get support
  • benefits and other financial help
  • carer’s employment rights
  • services available to carers

You can find out more by contacting us at Icareyoucare@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk

Alternatively, Carers UK Helpline is available when you need expert information, advice and support about your rights, about financial and practical help available or about any other challenges carers face.
