Clinical research is the way in which we improve treatments in the NHS.

Research at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust takes place in many settings across Oxford, Buckinghamshire and parts of Wiltshire. The NIHR Oxford cognitive health Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at the Warneford Hospital site works in collaboration with Oxford University and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, enabling people to take part in research into innovative treatments.

The trust is joining forces with organisations around the country to support the International Clinical Trials Day on 20 May.

We invite you to join our open day.

This is your opportunity to come and look around the CRF, meet the research team and ask questions. There will be a programme of talks and seminars throughout the day:

  • 00021490what the CRF is and does, and how research is run
  • specific studies running locally
  • experiences of taking part in research

Full programme details will be available shortly. You can drop in for a section of the day or stay as long as you wish. We look forward to welcoming you.
