The new psychiatric intensive care unit for children and young people is an eight-bed development is supported by NHS England and will enable young people experiencing the most acutely disturbed phase of a serious mental disorder to receive specialist help closer to home.

The Trust is hosting a recruitment open day on Saturday 25th February. This will start at 10am at the Highfield Unit, Warneford Hospital, Oxford.

There will be a chance to meet the PICU team and find out more about the roles on offer, which include:

• Administrators
• Band 5 Staff Nurses
• Band 6 Charge Nurse / Research Nurse
• Occupational Therapist
• Speech & Language Therapist
• Nursing Associates
• Activity Coordinators
