At its meeting in public on 25 April 2007, the Trust’s Board agreed to approve an Integrated Business Plan (IBP) for 2007 – 2012.

The IBP, which includes plans for the Trust’s services, finances and workforce, builds on the business plan agreed in March for 2007/08 and includes £64m of investment to improve our care facilities. It is the result of work by many teams and many members of staff, and the Board expressed its appreciation for the work done to create a clear and affordable plan to develop and strengthen our services and the organisation which delivers them.

Our IBP forms the basis for our application to become an NHS Foundation Trust. It has been sent to the Department of Health for assessment before the Secretary of State for Health considers whether to support OBMH in making an application to Monitor – the NHS Foundation Trust regulator – for Foundation Trust status.

A summary of the IBP can be found on our Foundation Trust page under Summary of our Application
