Becoming a governor: candidate information events

In March 2025, Oxford Health will be hosting two public candidate information pre-election events for people who are interested in becoming a governor.

The events will cover:

  • What governors do
  • Why their role matters,
  • How much time it involves
  • What you will learn
  • How you can help shape local healthcare

These friendly, informal events will be hosted by Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs, Ben Cahill. Ben says:

“You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions about the governor role. As a governor, you will gain a better understanding of how the Trust operates, raise important issues, and work with management to develop a more effective system for the people we support.”
