Have you got Sport In Mind?

Sporting activities are being launched in Buckinghamshire to support people living with mental ill health.

Have you got Sport In Mind?

Charity Sport In Mind is to host a range of sporting sessions and physical activities to empower people to get moving and support their mental wellbeing.

The sessions are free to anyone aged 17 and over in Buckinghamshire who is experiencing mental health issues. All the sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and participants do not need to be to take part – they can just turn up, join in, and have fun. The activities are open to everyone – whatever their sporting ability. The aim is to have fun in a safe and supported environment.

Tennis and badminton sessions are already underway. Take a look at the Sport In Mind website for more information.

And Sport in Mind have put together a two-minute survey to find out from Buckinghamshire people the types of other activities they would like to take part in, and preferred days, times and locations.
