Ofsted and the CQC would like to hear the views of children and young people with SEN or a disability, parents and carers and professionals

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is visiting Oxfordshire, as part of a pilot inspection programme, looking at arrangements for children and young people with special educational needs and/or a disability. This pilot visit will test elements of the new area SEND inspection framework.

Ofsted and the CQC would like to hear the views of children and young people with SEN or a disability, parents and carers and professionals about the support that people receive locally and how it has helps them.

You can take part by completing an online survey:

Children and Young People

  • between 11-18 years old with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND)
  • between 11-18 years old with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or SEN support
  • between 19-25 years old with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
  • excluding people who attend university

Parents

  • If you have more than one child with SEND you can use the same link to complete a separate survey for each child

Professional practitioners

The surveys close  at 9am on Tuesday June 28 2022
