Family, friends and carers of people with personality disorders can find out more about the condition and how they can help and support those they care for at a special workshop in September.

Hurry and book onto our free carers’ workshop on September 21

Understanding and supporting someone with a personality disorder will be running from 1.00pm-3.30pm on Wednesday 21 September and is available to the family, friends and carers of our service users who are currently under the care of Oxfordshire Mental Health services.

The workshop aims to provide an overview of personality disorders, exploring the underlying causes and the complex emotional difficulties which may contribute towards the diagnosis.

Di Hilson, the Trust’s Carers’ Lead, says:

“This workshop will focus on strategies and tips for friends and family who are supporting someone with a personality disorder.”

Places are free but limited so please email Di if you are interested in taking part: Diane.Hilson@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk, giving your name, number and the course you would like to attend.
